Who we are...

FilTown Toronto Association was created to start a grassroots initiative to simply give a Filipino identity and beautify the neighborhood of Bathurst & Wilson. Initially, we just wanted to attract media interest and raise awareness of our unique cultural identity and bring people to the area to benefit businesses and advertisers. 

Now, we are pleased to announce our community outreach programs; Summer Drop-In sessions with activity and workshop topics ranging from “Adjusting to Life in Canada” to “Seniors in the Wireless World” and After-School programs in form a class to learn the skills and using “hands-on” experience to running a camera all the way to producing a show through our FILTOWN MEDIA CENTRE.

We have started the grassroots campaign, developed community programs and scheduled events promoting culture, arts and businesses. Our plans are underway with our partnership with charitable, school and church organizations. FILTOWN Mobile App is the staple program that enables us in building a community where people creating content and realizing their full potential through broadcasting to a global reach.  We are well on our way towards a vibrant and diverse community where people are inspired and empowered to share stories and promote culture, arts and business anywhere, anytime, on any media device globally.
